Campus × Mosaic Atlas

Turn learning into impact.

Give students a structured way to discover real community needs, contribute responsibly, work alongside people who can act, and document what changed.

Your students already have knowledge, energy and ideas. This gives those capabilities somewhere real to go.

The difference

Not just hours. Not just certificates. Documented impact.

Mosaic Atlas connects student participation to real community needs, creating a transparent record of what students worked on, what they contributed, and what was verified.

The programme journey

Six steps, start to record.

  1. 01Discover

Students find real, documented community needs on the Atlas.

  2. 02Investigate

They study the need, the people affected and what is missing.

  3. 03Contribute

They take a defined role and do the work alongside those who can act.

  4. 04Verify

Evidence is reviewed through the existing Mosaic Atlas verification.

  5. 05Resolve

The community need moves forward, and change is documented.

  6. 06Document

The contribution becomes part of a traceable public record.

Why partner?

A pathway, not a programme brochure.

Real-world learning

Students move beyond classroom theory and engage with documented community challenges.

Structured student engagement

Organise students around meaningful community needs and projects, not ad-hoc drives.

Documented impact

Contributions are connected to specific community needs rather than vague volunteering claims.

Accountability

Activities, progress and outcomes are documented through the Mosaic Atlas journey.

Student impact record

Every student builds a credible record of the community work they actually contributed to.

Institutional visibility

Partner campuses can demonstrate meaningful student engagement with real communities.

What students do

They take a role, not a slot.

Every student is associated with a specific community need and a specific role — the work they actually did. A student may contribute to several community needs over time, and each one is documented separately.

How it works

Ten steps. No ambiguity.

  1. 01A college joins Mosaic Atlas as a Partner Campus.
  2. 02An authorised coordinator adds or imports students.
  3. 03Students discover available community needs on the Atlas.
  4. 04A student joins, or is assigned to, an appropriate community need.
  5. 05The system associates the student with that Community Need ID.
  6. 06The student contributes in a defined role.
  7. 07The contribution is documented.
  8. 08Progress is verified through the existing Mosaic Atlas workflow.
  9. 09Programme requirements are completed.
  10. 10An eligible certificate is issued with a unique Certificate ID.
How impact is documented

Two identifiers. Two different truths.

A Community Need ID identifies the real-world issue. A Certificate ID identifies the recognition issued to one student for their documented contribution. They are never the same record.

One student can be associated with many Community Need IDs. There is no single ID that represents a student's whole participation.

A certificate records documented participation. It never claims that the student personally solved the community problem.

How certificates work

Earned, verified, and independently checkable.

  • Never issued because a student was added to a roster or assigned to a need.
  • Only available after the contribution is documented and verified.
  • Carries its own unique Certificate ID, separate from the Community Need ID.
  • Anyone can verify it publicly — no forms, no phone calls.
  • Shows only what is needed to verify: never private student data.

For students

A structured way to work on something real, in a defined role, and leave with a record of what they actually contributed.

For faculty

Assign, follow and review student contributions against documented community needs — with evidence, not self-reporting.

For institutions

Demonstrate meaningful, traceable student engagement with real communities, exportable whenever it's needed.

Built for universities, engineering colleges, business schools, medical institutions, law schools, arts and humanities institutions, management institutions and technical institutions.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered plainly.

+Is this a volunteering-hours programme?

No. Hours alone say nothing about what happened. Campus × Mosaic Atlas ties each student to a specific documented community need, a defined role, and a verified record of their contribution.

+Can a certificate be generated just by adding a student?

No. A certificate only becomes available once the contribution is documented and verified. Adding a student to a roster, or assigning them to a community need, never issues anything.

+Can one student work on more than one community need?

Yes. A student can be associated with as many Community Need IDs as they contribute to. Each association is documented and verified separately.

+What does the Victory Mark mean here?

A Victory Mark continues to represent a verified community outcome under the existing Mosaic Atlas rules. It is never awarded for student participation. If a need a student contributed to reaches a verified victory, their record can reference it.

+What about student privacy?

Campus coordinators see only students of their own institution. Students see their own detailed records. Public certificate verification shows only what is needed to verify the certificate.

Students don't just participate.
Their contribution becomes part of a documented community story.
